What is a Botox unit?

The Beauty Clinic What is a Botox Unit?

Botox is a medication, and its dosage is measured in Units. Each vial of Botox has 100 Units. Each area of the face usually requires about 20 Units.

Some practices charge for Botox per area, some charge per Unit, and some charge by the syringe. At The Beauty Clinic, we charge by the syringe: each syringe of Botox consists of 10 Units.

When charged by the syringe, you can be confident you are only paying for the amount you need. On the contrary, when you pay per area, the price is set, regardless of the number of Units of Botox injected into the area. The downside to that is while you pay one price per area, if you don’t need as much Botox as the next person, you’re paying the same, but getting less. Or worse, the same amount of Units are injected into every person ?‍♀️ All of our faces are different and unique and the number of Units injected should be customized.

What is the cost per Unit of a Botox at The Beauty Clinic? Since there are 10 Units per syringe, and each syringe costs $120, each unit is $12. New patients with Nurse Nikki get an even better price! Call us for details ?
