𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲? When some people smile, their upper lip elevates far above their upper teeth, exposing their gums. Sometimes, having a thin upper lip causes the gums to show even more.
𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: There are two ways to treat gummy smiles with injectables. The first way is using Botox to slightly relax the muscles responsible for raising the upper lip. After treated, when you smile, your upper lip will now cover your gums. The second way is using filler to add volume to the upper lip, which lowers the upper lip slightly so that less gum is exposed when smiling.
